Veterans don’t have to stand alone in their battle for benefits and medical care. The Service Officer will help veterans and family members weed through the paperwork and bureaucracy of government in order to get the benefits and medical care deserved. The American Legion service officer offers free advice and guidance for veterans who need the services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
If you, a veteran and/or family members need assistance or have questions pertaining to veterans benefits contact Service Officer Fred Richards at Post 31 and he will assist you.
Also, a variety of medical assistance equipment is available on loan to veterans, their families and community members. Some examples are: hospital beds, wheelchairs, crutches, canes, toilet seat extensions, and more. Please be specific when requesting equipment needs.
Again, if you, a veteran and/or family members are in need of medical equipment contact Service Officer Fred Richards at Post 31 and he will assist you. NOTE: The person being referred does not have to be an American Legion member.
