Post 31 Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion meetings
are held every 2nd Thursday of the month
starting promptly at 7:00 pm, except in July & August
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veteran's organization. A community-service organization which now numbers over 3 million members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide. These Posts are organized into 55 Departments -- one each for the fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.
Since our charter on August 14, 1923, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
